The market is known for its fishmongers who will eagerly throw fresh fish across the market floor and its Starbucks, one of the first in the entire world. The Shopping Capitol of Seattle
Westlake Center and Pacific Place are two of the city’s best shopping centers and they are both located right in downtown. The Westlake Center has 23 stores and eateries, including a Zara and Nordstrom Rack, and is located next to a Macy’s and Urban Outfitters. Pacific Place is much larger, and the four floors are anchored by an AMC Theatre, Victoria’s Secret, Barney’s New York and Barnes & Noble. Sit-in restaurants include Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant, Il Fornaio, Johnny Rockets and Pike Place Chowder.
